Kapoeta Health Clinic

Over the past year, we have been involved in the setting up of a local health clinic in Kapoeta, South Sudan. This project is key for the next stage of development in Kapoeta bringing healthcare to a remote area and to people who often struggle to access regular healthcare.

We are excited by the way that the clinic will give the families and children access to healthcare and also in its role in training the next generation of medical practitioners. The clinic will be staffed by newly registered healthcare professionals who went through our education sponsorship programme. 2 nurses and 1 pharmacist are ready to begin practicing within the clinic.

This is incredibly important to the project as it is local people investing in local healthcare. We are now waiting for the building of toilets which will is needed for the clinic to be accepted by local governing bodies.
