The Bible Works

Jesus says, “You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”  John8v32 ESV.  Only through knowing and believing the truth recorded for all time in the bible are people able to be set free and enter into the fullness of life that God has for them.  Life Bridging Works is passionate about getting the bible into peoples hands as, “This book is the most valuable thing that this world affords, Here is Wisdom; this is the Royal Law; these are the Living Oracles of God.”  These words were said by the moderator of the Church of Scotland as he handed King James a bible at his coronation and we would agree with them totally.

The Bible Works

Many people, particularly from other religious backgrounds have come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ just through being handed a bible and reading it.  The majority of leaders that we train (depending on their English ability) and all our sponsorship children upon entering secondary school level of education are given a copy of the famous ESV Study Bible.  So that they not only have access to a quality translation but have access to a vast library of balanced evangelical theological notes on the text and a whole variety of issues.  These books are a loved and treasured gift that reaps massive benefits over the years.

Translating the bible into Toposan

More than this we are currently assisting Salt and Light Ministries with the translation of the bible into the Toposan language so that the Toposa can hear God’s word read in their mother tongue with no need of translation.
